One year ago, the Covid-19 pandemic spread out in Italy. As a strategic company of the defense and the aerospace sectors, CAB obtained a special authorization from the government to keep the business open (Our response to Covid-19).
Today, what has changed for CAB? What has been the impact of Covid-19 on the company and which measures have been adopted since then?
“When Covid-19 started in our area, our priority has been to protect the health of each one of us. We took immediate measures to do so and created a safe environment (Protocol to face Covid-19).
During 2020, CAB has maintained a proactive approach in spite of the difficulties:
• we bought a new 3-axis milling machine with an innovative vacuum system (Mecapro milling machine);
• we obtained the renewal of NADCAP accreditation for chemical processing;
• aiming at the continuous improvement of our processes, we implemented a new ERP software.
We took the opportunity of this particular year to learn and adapt to unexpected circumstances. As a business strategy, we chose to open the doors to new markets, put our knowhow, qualifications, and experience at the service of different sectors.
Not only aerospace and space, today, CAB is proud to also serve the ROBOTICS, AUTOMOTIVE and BUILDING industries.”
